Boondoggle #1 - Bonte Is Reborn

How It Happened

Not sure, really, other than on that fateful September morning I found myself alone on a flight to San Francisco with no plan, nobody, no desires, no where to be... but a Nikon camera and many rolls of Elitechrome and Kodachrome. And so it was that I was to spend 5 days on the west coast suffering the best kind of therapy on the planet: warm sun, cool air, ocean views, a beautiful city, and plenty of time on my hands.

Such was the Rebirth Of Bonte.

This would be the start of many incredible photo expeditions while working for a company with a (thankfully) forgiving travel policy. The days and nights of these trips were filled with bleary eyed camera focusing, chasing the sun, and finding great vantage points. This is where I LEARNED the camera, and the mystique of capturing images and moments to share with others for years to come.
